Bama Baroque: Inaugural Concert
I am so thrilled that Bama Baroque (BB), the early music ensemble I co-founded alongside Dr. Michael Delfin, will present our inaugural concert on Saturday, March 29, 2o25, at 6:30 pm CST in the recital hall (Room 140) in the University of Alabama School of Music!
BB will play works by Bach, Oswald, Schmelzer, Clerambault, and more on period instruments.

Seven Hills Baroque: “AIR”
Join me and my 7HB colleagues for “Air,” our third concert of the 2024-2025 season! Presented as part of St. Barnabas’ St. B at 3Concert Series. Note: due to typical length and parameters of St. Barnabas’ concert series, our concert will be shorter in length than our typical 1.5 hour average.
All the details you need for the concert are on 7HB’s helpful season calendar HERE.

Hänsel Und Gretel
I’ll be playing in the orchestra as a guest violinist for CCM’s Opera D’Arte Production of Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, directed by Kenneth Shaw and conducted by Brett Scott!
As an exception to my general rule of performing only on my Baroque violin wherever possible, I will be performing on what I affectionately call my “avant garde violin” (my modern, i.e. NOT Baroque violin).
Tickets are required for this event. Find out more and purchase tickets here on CCM’s website.
Seven Hills Baroque: “WATER”
Join me and my 7HB colleagues for our second concert of the 2024-2025 season! This concert will take place as part of Cincinnati’s “Cincinnati Early Music Festival,” an annual medley of concerts and events held in February.
All the details you need for the concert are on 7HB’s helpful season calendar HERE.
Seven Hills Baroque: “EARTH”

Peruvian Baroque: Missa de Lima
Join me, musical colleagues, director Christopher Holman, and the St. Gertrude Choir at 7 pm on November 5, 2024, for a special Mass celebrating the feast of the Peruvian Dominican friar St. Martin de Porres. For this Mass, we will perform Missa de Lima by Italian-Peruvian Baroque composer Roque Ceruti (c. 1683 - 1760). We’ll be in the sanctuary at St. Gertrude Church in Cincinnati.
As Tuesday, November 5 is Election Day in the USA, emotions will certainly be running high for many of us. If you need a place to escape it all, for just a brief moment - as I know I certainly will - I hope to see you there for this brief, unique, and beautiful evening of music.

EMA Summit: Early Music America
I’ll be attending the entire yearly Early Music America 2024 Summit in Cleveland, Ohio, along with colleagues from Seven Hills Baroque and EMA’s Emerging Professional Leadership Council (EPLC)! ! If you’ll be in attendance, let’s be sure to connect.
Aside from attending lectures and concerts throughout, I’m scheduled for the following:
Monday, October 21, 2024, Wade Recital Hall at Case Western Reserve University, 9:00-10:00 AM: Navigating Work and Study Visas in North America and Farther Abroad. I’ll join a panel of other immigration professionals and EMA staff to discuss current immigration trends, issues, and more, especially as it pertains to musicians. (Note: I am not an attorney. My contributions will be general and informational in nature and should not be taken as personal or legal advice.)
Monday, October 21, 2024, Location TBD, 5:30-7:00 PM: EMA Mixer LIVE! Join me and other EPLC members for the first-ever live “Mixer,” an ongoing social and educational event series hosted remotely by EMA. Location TBD - I’ll update once more details are known.

Classical Revolution: Cincinnati

I will update this listing with more details as I have them.
